Is That Him?
Should we say she is lucky? After all, what would you consider yourself when you are busy reporting and all of a sudden you have a visitor in the form of Captain Jack Sparrow himself! Johnny Depp has made the character iconic and who wouldn't want to get clicked with him?
What did you say? He might not be the original Jack Sparrow? Even if he isn't, the resemblance is uncanny and the reporter here simply couldn't put her eyes off him. We wouldn't blame her at all for getting distracted.
Fishing Gone Wrong
This reporter was out there, holding on to a big wet fish and showing off to her viewers. She was extremely confident initially. But suddenly something unexpected happens. The fish jumped out of her hand and the reporter got into a tizzy not knowing what to do.
She lost control and eventually ended up falling on the man who was with her as the guide. Together, they hit the bottom of the boat. The entire incident was hilarious and both of them had a good laugh. She probably would think twice before embarking on such things in the future.
Go Away!
Often newsreaders and journalists have to go out in the world and take interviews. They try to get bytes or scoops from different people while reporting. Sometimes, they come across people who don't take a liking to them or feel they are being disturbed unnecessarily.
While some ignore these journalists, some have one way of reacting. This man's action here clearly proves that he is irritated. He is not liking the lady's presence and therefore, he chose to throw a big pail of water at her to ward her off. We pity the newsreader and believe she deserved to be treated better.
That's Spidey!
Initially, we thought that the woman had fainted. Who wouldn't? Everybody is a fan of Spiderman. Kids love him and the adults adore him. But seeing him landing just beside you, especially when you're busy reporting, is a different feeling altogether. The reporter didn't see this coming.
His presence was just enough for her to swoon and she eventually landed at his feet. It's good that Spidey caught her before she hit the floor badly. Whatever it is, this was all in good taste as well see the journalist having a hearty laugh at the end.
Ouch!
This can't be included in the list of news reporter fails. But this incident took place when this reporter was giving bytes on TV. The cyclist in the background was probably unmindful while riding or he just wanted to get famous.
But the way he hit the pavement was catastrophic and there is every possibility that he had hurt himself badly. We don't know if he needed medical attention or not, but this was rather cartoonish, to be honest. If he had tried this stunt just to come on television, it was foolish of him. We would advise you not to try this anywhere.
Monkey Trouble
Monkeys can be incredibly cute, but unpredictable too. This applies to many members of the animal kingdom. When you are working with them, you can't let your guard down. This journalist would surely remember this when she takes up a similar assignment.
That was just a peck on the nose, but this could get worse. Good for her, the monkey was not in a bad mood. We recommend everyone should be alert while dealing with animals. However, we couldn't stop laughing our hearts out while looking at her expressions.
Was This Deliberate?
Okay agreed that this is an accident. But how did someone position the screen with the pig snout so perfectly on the news anchor's face? It's so damn silly that we are forced to believe that someone might have played a prank on her.
Do we wonder if she noticed what had just happened? Maybe she had no idea whatsoever about what was going on. Even if we consider that she was well aware of this, we have to appreciate her for her professionalism. She was engrossed in her daily business.
Mom, You Have A Call
The COVID-19 pandemic forced people to maintain social distancing and stay indoors as much as possible. This meant that people had to work from home. That has become the new normal. Even news anchors had to use zoom to come live and report.
However, the constant interference of the family members has been a pain in the neck for those who rep[ort via zoom. But this reporter in the frame doesn't seem to be in the comforts of her home. Rather, she is reporting right from her studio. So what is her child doing there with her phone? Is that an urgent call? This is strange but funny at the same time.
He Scared the Daylights Out of Her
It can't get funnier. This newsreader was busy giving her reports on the camera when she suddenly notices a passerby coolly standing behind her and posing for the lens. We are confused by their expressions. It's okay for the news anchor to get terrified to suddenly see someone looking over her shoulder like this.
But the man to looks quite petrified and we guess, it could be because he has realized that the lady is frightened because of him. Both however recover from the fright and assure each other that it's completely okay.
That's Embarrassing
Now, this can truly be the nightmare of any news anchor. This poor man was trying to do his job to the best of his ability and this guy comes from behind and pulls his pants down. That must have certainly left the reporter embarrassed. He probably didn't anticipate this.
But the good thing is that he is wearing his underwear. Many people don't. Just imagine if he wouldn't have had his underwear inside? That would certainly have been disastrous. We are sure this news anchor would be alert the next time.
Running Nose
Yew! We just hope this news journalist doesn't watch this report herself or she would feel embarrassed. It can often be really cold outside. News anchors have to brave the weather while they are on their assignments.
This poor girl was out there despite the harsh weather as she had a job to do. She was so damn into her work that she didn't realize that a disaster was about to happen. Her running nose was caught on live TV. We wonder if someone had told her about it later on.
Tra la
Often when you are at work, things seem to go at a snail's pace and you feel bored. Those are the times when you think of having some fun. If you have like-minded people amongst your colleagues, things can get better. Of course, not everyone enjoys a special bond. But these two here surely do.
These two guys are co-workers and they took the opportunity to do a little boogie-woogie. We guess they don't even realize that they are on air and viewers are watching them this way. With that being said, we feel good seeing people having good fun in their workplace.
Down She Goes
We all have some moments in life when we meet someone and strike up a conversation with them. It is then that we try to stay as relaxed and casual as we can, sometimes trying to lean on a wall that doesn't even exist or doing something to prove that things are okay.
This lady here was trying to do just that while talking to the man. She held the rope casually for support but unfortunately, it didn't serve the purpose, and down she went straight into the water. Well, that might have been quite embarrassing for her, but we are sure the man lent a helping hand.
A Kick Did the Job
News reporters are pretty well conversant with people who try to create a nuisance by barging into the frame all of a sudden. It looks like this man has faced this several times before. He knew how to tackle the intruders. A random guy was trying to leap onto him and with a brilliant side kick the journalist pushed him out.
He would certainly have been proud of himself after watching this on TV. But we guess the news anchor was into another profession before he entered the world of media. Was he a stunt man, a martial artist, or a footballer? What do you think?
How Do I Look?
Before we comment on this, we would like to take some time to comment on the lady's hat. She is indeed looking fashionable with that on her head. She would have thought that this is an opportunity to introduce herself and show her fashionable clothes to the world.
She slowly walked into the frame and was trying to say something to the news anchor when the latter pushed her away. But here is the surprise! The reporter didn't realize that the lady was none other than Erykah Badu, the singer everyone is a fan of. The positive thing is that she didn't feel bad about it and merrily went her way. Kudos to her spirit.
A Friendly Reminder
This is kind of adorable. This reporter was standing so close to a tram that he could have gotten hit by it at any moment. This kid probably wanted to warn him of the dangers of standing within sniffing distance from a tram track. He utilized the opportunity and touched the reporter quite gently.
The friendly tap was probably a wake-up call for the reporter, while on the other hand, the little boy got the rare chance of appearing live on TV. We, just like the reporter, can't help smiling while looking at this clip. So cute!
Videobombing at Its Best
First of all, this news anchor seems to be a passionate professional, who is used to doing his job no matter what comes his way. Just watch him doing his job so nicely in front of the camera, despite the video-bomber behind him appearing out of nowhere and making funny faces. That guy got no chill! He stares at the camera repeatedly.
What do you think happened right after this? Probably the news anchor gently told the guy behind him to leave the place and an altercation followed. Or maybe he just continued doing what he does best. Who knows?
Ugh!
Most of the time, when a reporter or anchor is out in the treacherous weather, they cannot be heard properly over the rain and wind. Reporters often are forced outside when the weather is terrible, and they seem defeated in sub-zero temperatures. But who knew something else, something bigger was going to hit this reporter so bad?
News presenters getting blown away, hit, or injured by natural elements is not anything new, but this was a human error. The winter service vehicle operator probably couldn't see the reporter, and the result was horrible. We are sorry. This is not even slightly hilarious.
Oh Sorry!
How does it feel when you go for a high five and accidentally miss it? Well, if you have been through it, you would know that it's super-embarrassing, to say the least. But as long as you are not hurting anyone, there's no harm done, right?
Unfortunately, that was not the case here. The reporter, apparently super-excited, tried to high-five several people standing behind him and see how he ended up. He whacked that guy on his right straight into his face. Well, an apology is due. Did he apologize?
That Killer Look
This is not essentially a reporter fail, but an odd fan encounter on live television. The way that guy looks at the camera is kind of weird, and we have no idea what was going inside his head when he looked at the camera like this.
The person behind the camera, however, was all game for it and he zoomed in to show the odd face of this guy to the viewers. The good thing about this guy is that he is not trying to disrupt the show. He's just standing there, looking at the camera. What does his cheeky grin mean? God knows!
Slowly, Stealthily
Just when the reporter started broadcasting, the audience went into splits seeing someone in the background. While the staff member had good intentions, he didn't consult anyone if it was the right time to be present on the sets. The cameras rolled live and he, the staff, for some reason felt it wouldn't hamper the very flow of the show if he fixed the wires right!
What made him the treat to sore eyes were the moves. Of course, he wanted to do his work, but his 'stealthy' moves became the talking point here. We presume the reporter too, must have seen him in the camera and gave that typical smirk.
Too Star-Struck
There's no blaming the reporter who decides to skip his duties for a moment and just catch the much-coveted glimpse of Fergie. Imagine talking live on air with the Hollywood beauty. Will it be possible to retain one's focus and stand indifferent to the spectacle she is? No!
A busy area as Times Square is replete with excited fans and balloons everywhere. But since his eyes were all set on her, he probably didn't notice the flying balloons around his face. Once in a blue moon, we can afford to give in to our inner child, right?
Frozen Yet Dutiful
The job of a journalist is never easy. Look at this poor woman who decided to try skating (perks of the job!) for a brief period. Though it started great, a few seconds into the game and the success story was cut short! She fell flat on her face but managed to get up quickly.
We're happy this smart lady wasted no time and immediately started analyzing the area, and the quality of ice and engaged her fellow skater and speaker (John Rose) in the discussion. The guest knew they were going live, so he probably controlled his laughter and started following suit. Highly intelligent of them!
Desk Disaster
Like really? These septuagenarians were engaged in a highly volatile discussion about the political state of affairs prevailing around, them but didn't know they would fail to maintain the 'decorum'! But wait... their expressions seem to hint to us that they were too busy trying to take a portion of the table!
While occasional mishaps are common, these news anchors and guests forgot completely they were live on air. Curiosity looms large regarding what they were exactly talking about or if the discussion at all had any real connection with what led them to be 'on their toes.
Professionalism At Its Best
Are you looking at this beauty before the camera? Well, she's indeed doing her part well. But the one who deserves all the acclaim and adulation is the woman in the background who knew she was in the shot, while the live session proceeded. And the best part was she didn't bat an eyelid!
Sometimes people are caught off guard or someone makes an entry unknowingly when the live broadcast occurs. But we salute this staff member who undoubtedly felt a little hesitant about what would be her next move and stayed like a statue till the camera rolled elsewhere. Sheer brilliance!
I Make No Apologies…
It makes total sense that reporters, just like the audience often get a little affected by the intensity of the news. And that's precisely what occurred here. We would like to believe that she was trying to adjust her cuffs, but her fingers seem to defy the action!
Her somewhat awkward and weird expressions hint at the type of news that might have been broadcast here. However, we hope she realized soon that her gunshot action and cutesy smile wouldn't mask whatever she had to say back then. Okay, there's no harm in being our natural selves, at times maybe.
Back And Forth
What are these two even doing? Everything looks quite out of place and to put it straight, this shot is a hilarious one! The guy at the back perfectly slides into the view and seems somewhat panicky. He realized he was in the shot, but by then, it was too late.
The one at the front went about speaking in his usual way. Realizing well that someone's out at the back who has no role to play in the live session, he lays completely indifferent to it. But frankly, our hearts go out to the one at the back who's petrified, anxious, and tries his best to hide his face.
Too Real
Has the woman barged in accidentally or has someone pushed her deliberately? When the anchor draws the concentration of the audience to something rather relevant, in the current times- this entry was just not called for. We're not sure if the cameraman did the trick, but whatever it is, the scene looks funny.
Or probably we can conclude that the team wanted a somewhat realistic effect to the news, which is why they kept the anchor at the side in this shot, while the other one was pushed from the side, and she fell with a huge thud.
But News First
Coming up with news takes predominance over what happens around. At least, that's exactly what this man seemed to do, and he's rather good at it. He played blind to what happened to the woman at the back. But even when he turned his back, he cared little to act a tad 'humanitarian' towards the source of the noise.
Decency is dead! And chivalry implies that one must do his or her job, without doing exactly what is expected of them. We don't blame him though. As the perfect newsreader, he justified the adage that a man must be clicked before he's saved!
