O'Brien's fans were livid at Leno for taking O'Brien's place. Jimmy Kimmel joined the jamboree. Jimmy impersonated Leno and did one whole episode in the show.

There was a reason for Kimmel to support O'Brien as he had hated Leno expressing his anger in many public places. But their long-standing animosity hit the pause button when  Leno expressed kindness towards Kimmel after his son's surgery. A little bit of kindness can go a long way in resolving long-standing disputes as happened with Kimmel and Leno.

His Emmy-award-winning Seinfield from 1989 to 1998, as Cosmo Kramer made him a household name. He also made a guest appearance in Mad About You. After Seinfeld, he became a part of The Michael Richards Show, which was canceled after two months.

However, a racist rant during a stand-up comedy set spelled doom for his career. Things went downhill from there for him.

Miguel

Miguel Jontel Pimentel is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor.  He began pursuing a music career at age thirteen, after signing to Jive Records in 2007. His major hit Adorn helped him gain major chart-topping success. But bad luck caught up with the guy poor guy and he tried to do the rockstar thing and jump right over and ended up accidentally crash land on fans. The girl whom he injured sued him immediately.

Jennifer Grey

Jennifer Grey made her acting debut with the film Reckless, however, her breakthrough performance turned out to be Ferris Bueller's Day.  She became a household name with the romantic drama film Dirty Dancing which also earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination. Her other films included Red Dawn, The Cotton Club, Bloodhounds of Broadway, Bounce, Redbelt.  The Wind Rises and more.

But a mishap with surgery undid much of the success she has been able to generate at the beginning of her career. Her nose was her most distinctive feature. It's really sad that the shape of her nose would determine the course of her career.

Although it impacted her career, she continues to make several appearances on television and in films.

Amanda Bynes

Amanda rose to fame in the 1990s and the 2000s. She started as a child actress, having appeared in All That, the sketch comedy show on Nickelodeon. Amanda had her breakthrough with The Amanda Show.

She made her film debut with the 2002 comedy film Big Fat Liar and then went on to star in What a Girl Wants, Hairspray, She's the Man, and Easy A. Though Amanda has had a fairly successful career to date, she has been involved in many a mishap, which has led to controversies.

It was the year 2012 when Amanda hit a police officer with her car. She was examined and was accused of DUI. That was unfortunately not the first time, as she was put behind the bars for another DUI. There have been other issues and things are not looking bright for her. We want to see her on the silver screen again. 

Mark Salling

You would recognize Mark Salling as the actor who played the role of Noah "Puck" Puckerman on the television series Glee. Although he studied music at the Los Angeles College of Music, he gave acting a shot with the shows, Children of the Corn IV: The Gathering and The Graveyard.

Of course, his recurring role in Glee in 2009 made him a household name. Initially, although, he was a regular character, from the fifth season his role was reduced to that of a guest role. His dream was to establish his own record label, which he did with Pipe Dreams Records, in partnership with Fontana Distribution. He also released an album, under the label, The Pipe Dream.

However, his legal wrangles got the better of him and after numerous accusations, he eventually ended his life in 2018.

Ryan Lochte

Along with the likes of Dara Torres, Natalie Coughlin, and Jenny Thompson, Ryan Lochte happens to be the second most decorated swimmer in the history of the Olympic Games, just behind Michael Phelps. He has grabbed a total of 54 gold. 22 silver, and 14 bronze medals in the major international competitions.

Aside from being honored with the Swammy Award in 2013, he has won the FINA Swimmer of the Year thrice, the American Swimmer of the Year Award two times as well as the World Swimmer of the Year Award once. Before the 2012 Olympic Games, Ryan raked in a whopping $2.3 million as endorsement fees.

However, he found himself in a total mess. He lost many of his endorsements owing to the Lochtegate controversy in which he exaggerated a story saying that he and his teammates were held at gunpoint in Rio. That was not the case as Ryan later confessed that he was drunk. He apologized for it.

Felix Kjellberg

Felix Kjellberg, whom you know better by his online identity, PewDiePie, is a Swedish YouTuber whose channel is the fourth most subscribed one in the world, behind T-Series (India), Cocomelon - Nursery Rhymes (United States), and SET India (India).

Presently, the PewDiePie channel has 110 million subscribers and that makes Felix one of the most celebrated online personalities in the world, aside from being an individual content creator with the most subscriptions in the world. He was in the list of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine in the year 2016.

However, Felix found himself in trouble just after the N-word slipped from his mouth during one of his live streams in the year 2017. It became a huge issue and things gradually turned into a nightmare for Felix. He accepted his mistake and issued a formal apology.

Veronica Rose and Jason Simpson

Veronica Rose and Jason Simpson were pretty popular YouTubers until an incident happened which took their popularity down in the dumps. They displayed their dyed hair and dreads on social media and attached the caption - 2 Years of Cultural Appropriating and had to bear the brunt of the fans who trolled them badly on social media.

Social media users regarded the post as an insult to the colored people and openly spoke against the stigmatization of them by society for wearing dreads. The whole affair was very insensitive and racist on Jason and Veronica's part and the fans demanded an apology from them.

However, the two remained unfazed by everything and refused to apologize. They were hardly bothered about whom they were offending and that led to their decline. It looked like they deliberately did what they did.

With over 23 million people subscribed to his YouTube channel, Logan Paul is one of the most popular online personalities in recent times. His channel goes by the name TheOfficialLoganPaul. Aside from making an appearance in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, he has starred in films such as The Thinning as well as The Thinning: New World Order.

Coming to the controversy that Logan has been involved in, sources reveal that on his trip to Japan, Logan visited the Aokigahara Forest. He shot a vlog there showcasing a dead body hanging from a tree. In the vlog, the guy is seen cracking jokes at it and all of them were absolutely in bad taste.

He was on the receiving end of criticism for this insensitive act. Though he tried to cover up his mistake by stating that he trying to convince people not to commit suicide, but people thought it was a lame excuse. YouTube eventually stopped its ad revenue.

During the interview process, Klum felt that her bra had unhooked by itself. Suddenly she lost her confidence and held onto her shirt for dear life. Fortunately, there was help at hand in the form of comedian Martin Short, who was there on the show, and Leno who came to her rescue, offering their suit jackets making a shield for Klum who could refasten her lingerie again. We are sure Jimmy didn't see this coming when Nicole Kidman recounted the story when the duo had met many years ago, the recently divorced Kidman had candidly expressed that she had a major crush on Fallon. She was also nursing a hope in her heart that they would have a relationship between them.

Fallon must have felt a little shy at the prospect of Kidman being his beau and that too expressing her wish on national television. He took a minute or two to recover from the news and he exchanged seats with Kidman as she took his seat and he took the guest's seat. It makes us wonder how things would have gone if it had turned the way Kidman had imagined.

However, he evaded most of the questions directed toward him. He also seemed a little unwell to Letterman.

It was only later that Letterman found out that he was just staying in the characters for the mockumentary directed by Cassey Affleck, I'm Still Here. The strangest thing was that he forgot to tell Letterman all about it! Strange are the ways of famous people!

Richard Branson's Strange Ways

Sir Richard Charles Nicholas Branson is a British billionaire, entrepreneur, and business magnate. He founded the Virgin Group in the 1970s which today has more than 400 companies in various fields under its wing. He appeared on The Colbert Report in 2007 to promote his airline Virgin American Airlines, the surprising thing what was supposed to be a standard promotion turned out to be an altercation. He was unable to promote the same as he ended up throwing water from his mug at the show host.

Colbert then did the same and dumped water on Branson too.  The nature of the altercation made many people believe that it was staged. Perhaps it was! Well, we will never know the truth of the matter.

Rageful Racist Rant

One should never take success for granted, well Michael Richards, the man from the show Seinfeld, would agree wholeheartedly with the statement as his career went steadily downhill as he expressed his hate, racist side on national television, on a 2006 comedy show! It became a full-blown scandal that did not show any signs of abating.

Jerry Seinfeld asked Richards who appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman to come out of the public apology, but the audience refused to take him seriously and kept laughing at him, despite Seinfield asking the audience to stop. It was the final nail in Richard's career coffin. It just proves how one night of raving and ranting on national television can impact one's career.

Crispin Glover Notches Up His Gymnastic Ways

Crispin Glover is best known for playing the role of George McFly in Back to the Future. After the film went on to win major accolades and success, Glover went back to Letterman's show in 1987 to promote the next movie on the cards, River's Edge. He looked a little different as he wore a wig, glasses, and platform shoes. Glover was in his element and refused to answer a single question thrown at him which annoyed Letterman to no end. Letterman could hardly contain his irritation.

Glover even went on to show his gymnastic skills by throwing a kick that just missed Letterman's face. Glover was shown the door during a commercial break. It was certainly a unique way of promoting the film.

A Disastrous Episode For Madonna

The Late Show with David Letterman's made to the pages of history as it was one of the most censored late-night talks shows in history all thanks to Madonna for using expletives and censored words. Madonna said it so many times that it made the crew in the studio pretty uncomfortable as well. Madonna riled up Letterman telling him that he sucks up to his guests and does not challenge them as he should be doing.

Even the audience members were fed up with Madonna and asked her to leave. But Madonna chose to ignore them and puff on her cigar calmly. It was madness everywhere yet it turned out to be one of the most successful episodes ever.

 Letterman's Big Reveal

The date of October 1, 2009,  was a little different than David Letterman's usual programs as this show was not about Letterman interviewing his guests but it was all about himself. He sombrely admitted that he was the victim of a blackmailing scam. The person or the people who were blackmailing him had threatened to reveal his affairs with his female colleagues unless he doles out $2 million.

Letterman did admit that he had multiple affairs with several of the women he has worked with. Letterman worked in tandem with police to arrest producer Joe Halderman, who was the man behind the devilish scheme. Thankfully, Letterman's career did not get affected because of this scandal, it was largely because of his forthright nature that he was able to move ahead in his career without any hiccups.

If there is any on-air altercation on television that went down in history as one of the most famous or should we say the most infamous, then it is certainly the tussle between Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien. Leno left The Tonight Show to begin his program as O'Brien took over The Tonight Show, but Leno's show, went for a nosedive so much so that Leno lost his new slot on NBC and retraced his steps back to his old slot. Conan was paid millions to leave.

O'Brien figured out a way to get back on NBC and aired scripts that were anything but funny. On one of the shows, O'Brien showed a Bugatti wearing a mouse costume while there were strains of the Rolling stone song in the background, even getting licensing fees for the songs were extremely high.

Danielle Bregoli, also known as Bhad Bhabie, is an American rapper, songwriter, and internet personality. She first became famous from an appearance on Dr. Phil in September 2016, in which one of her phrases, Cash me outside, how 'bout dah?",  became a viral video meme and catchphrase.

Bregoli's mother was also having a tough time trying to deal with her daughter's newfound fame and her "car-stealing, knife-wielding" daughter. It was then that Bregoli answered with her famous words and the rest as they are history. More success followed in the wake as in 2017, Bregoli became the youngest female rapper to storm the Billboard Hot 100 chart with her debut single These Heaux. After a record deal with Atlantic Records, she has a reality show, a makeup brand, tours, and a music career.

Fans were ecstatic to watch their favorite royal couple, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have an interview lined up with none other than Oprah Winfrey. It was supposed to be a candid, tell-all interview that would reveal the hidden aspects of the royal couple's life. The audience had no idea what was coming and unfortunately, the interview turned out to be one of the most uncomfortable watches in recent times.

Markle had revealed that the royal family member had expressed concern about how dark their babies are going to be. She also talked about the suicidal thoughts that impacted her. While it was already known all was not well with the royal family and the younger couple, it became all-too-apparent on the show.

Still, Jimmy Kimmel insisted on questioning the star about his Star Wars days, there was also a member of the audience, Chewbacca who directed questions at him. The silly segment went on to reveal many truth bombs, one of them being, Ford's altercation with Wookie after Chewbacca slept with his wife.

Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel were always at loggerheads with each other, especially Kimmel who annoyed Damon as he always ran out of time before Damon could finish saying what he was saying. This annoyed Damon, to no end, and thought about seeking Kimmel's then-girlfriend's help.

The duo hatched a plan when she and Damon appeared on the very episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! where she confessed that she had been cheating on Kimmel, and of course, it was with none other than Damon through song. Kimmel was too angry but he masked his anger with a nonchalant attitude, he even laughed to show that he was unaffected. Finally, it was Damon's turn to pull a fast one on Kimmel.

He would officially be sworn in as an American in a few weeks.

Ferguson's feat was commendable because he knew more abou7t the country than many people born in the country. That just goes to show that he deserved to win citizenship. No wonder he couldn't contain his happiness and share the news with his viewers. To pass the test with flying colors, Ferguson was required to answer questions like, “What month is the new president inaugurated?” or “Who is the chief justice of the Supreme Court?”

The Genie in a Bottle singer was invited by Jimmy Fallon to play the Wheel of Musical Impressions on The Tonight Show. It is largely because she is a wonderful coach to the singers on The Voice. Christina was so good that she took the breath away of everyone sitting in the studio!

Her solid impersonations of famous singers set the tone of the episode, she started with Cher's singing in a Folger's commercial. Of course, that was not all, she also had her take on Britney Spears, This Little Piggy. Her final performance was on Shakira doing her take on the Golden Girls theme song. Harvey Pekar was once regarded as a big shot owing to the family's comic book series he had written called the American Splendor, which was later adapted into a film. Pekar appeared on Letterman's show a couple of times, which proved that the duo had some problems with each other.

In 1988, things came to a boiling point so much so that Letterman called him names even downplaying his success, by calling his publication a Mickey Mouse one. We wonder what could have caused such bad blood between the two famous people. We hope Harvey would reveal a tell-all book citing the reasons why the duo did not see eye to eye with each other. Maybe soon, with so much water down the bridge, we hope the duo had buried the hatchet.

John Oliver Pays Off Medical Debts

It was in the segment of Last Week Tonight in 2016, that John Oliver discussed how financial entities will buy debt from banks for cents on the dollar and will earn a large profit at the debtor's expense. He announced then that he would do something about it.

Last Week Tonight host John Oliver purchased 14.9 million dollars worth of medical debt for a mere sum of $60,000. It was supposed to be a stunt to earn more money. But a Reddit user, EricHill announced that he had received money on the comedy show explaining that his debt has been resolved. Eric's debt was paid by John and Eric didn't have to pay taxes on the cancellation of debt income. His debt was paid off without any strings attached.

Obama's Tweets About Himself

The audience is rooted in Jimmy Kimmel's show and one of the reasons that his show is popular is because of the segment,  "Mean Tweets", a segment where celebs read out tweets that can be best described as mean. Well, the mean tweets segment spares no one, not even the former most revered president, Barack Obama.

But Obama made it one of the most entertaining segments ever as Obama delivered answering tweets in his presidential baritone. While some tweets may have been self-deprecating, in some of the others, he managed to take hidden potshots at the mean commentators. Needless to say, it was one of the most fun segments ever.  Kudos to the erstwhile president for taking mean comments so well.

Andy Kaufman Leads a Rant Against Lawler on Late Night

There have been numerous, fantastic feuds throughout professional wrestling history, and there are some that don't always get their due credit. One such rivalry is the one certainly between Jerry "The King" Lawler and actor Andy Kaufman, which was thought to be one of the greatest wrestling angles ever.

But there was also a question of whether the fight was real or not, but it seems quite likely, given their relationship. The two were asked to attend the Letterman's show to resolve their differences but things became worse as Lawler ended up striking Kaufman right across the face. Later, Kaufman also began a profanity-ridden rant against both Lawler and Letterman. It was all very ugly, one of the ugliest on national television.

Have you heard of the YouTube channel named The Needle Drop? Well, it's Anthony Fantano who owns it. The musician, music critic, and vlogger has earned impressive revenues by discussing and reviewing various genres of music from different artists.

As of now, The Needle Drop Channel has around 2.49 million subscribers. Everything was going well until Fader brought out an article that stated a fact that was hidden from public information for quite a long time. Fantano was the mastermind behind a channel called thatistheplan. The channel published cringy content that was against feminists and SJWs.

Fantano had no other choice but to delete the channel. As a result, he lost 400,000 subscribers. It was a big mess he found himself in and it's hoped that Fantano wouldn't engage in anything similar in the future.

Patric Starr

Patrick Starr is a popular social media star and makeup artist and enjoys a nice fan following. Things would have been absolutely fine if Patrick wouldn't have been involved in an incident that proved to be a nightmare for him and changed people's perception of him forever.

Patrick paid homage to Solange through a tweet and went with the caption - Peace. Love. Positivity. The hair and the outfit were exactly like how Solange looked on her wedding day. Though a lot of people appreciated her, many of her followers blamed her for deliberately trying to look black.

He was shamed for this act and thus, his popularity came down drastically. It might have been unintentional on his part, but the damage was beyond repair. We hope Patrick would be cautious before venturing into something like this in the future.

Jeffree Star

Jeffree is a makeup artist, entrepreneur, and YouTuber all rolled into one. He is the founder of Jeffree Cosmetics and has raked in a significant sum of money as its owner. According to Forbes, he earned something in the ballpark of $18 million as his YouTube revenue in 2018 and was declared as the fifth highest-earning YouTuber of that year.

He has no dearth of followers who look up to him as an inspiration. The makeup mogul was in a controversy with Kylie Jenner and the fans were witnesses to the infamous incident. The feud began when Jenner launched her line of cosmetics in 2016.

He not only slammed Jenner's products but also had altercations with Kim Kardashian. Kat Von D. Jeffree later spoke about how Jenner had dropped his name from the press list during the launch of Kylie Cosmetics.

Tana Mongeau

Known among the people for creating storyline videos and posting them on her YouTube channel, Tana Mongeau is quite a famous internet personality. As of August 13 2021, her channel has 5.4 million subscribers and has total views of 885 million.

She was just basking under the glory of her success when an incident dampened her prospects of being one of the most loved people online. For those of you who don't know, Tana was involved in a feud with iDubbbz, who is also a YouTuber. She did not hesitate to criticize him publicly for using the N-word repeatedly.

Dubbo didn't take things lying down and exposed a few footages of Tana using the same N-word in various contexts. When the compilation video came out in the open, she was labeled as both a hypocritical and racist type of person. Her popularity has never been the same again.

Sam Pepper

Sam Pepper has established himself as a TikToker and a prankster. He has been a YouTuber as well. It was in 2010 that Sam came up with his channel on YouTube. The channel amassed more than 2 million subscribers.

He has been quite a popular figure on TikTok and is followed by 4 million people as of October 2021. This guy has received a lot of flak for his pranks which people have found to be disgraceful and spreading a wrong message to society. In a video in 2014, Sam was seen grabbing inappropriate body parts of women.

The video received immense criticisms and he took the video off the internet. But Sam is not one to have learned a lesson. A recent prank in a 2015 video led a man to believe that he has been a witness to his best friend's murder. Not cool at all!

Nicole Arbour

Nicole Arbour came to public attention as the cheerleader of the National Basketball Association team, Toronto Raptors. During her days at Humber College, Nicole kick-started her cheerleading career and won two national championships for the Humber Hype Dance Team.

Today, she is an actress, a choreographer, a singer, and a YouTuber. She was steadily getting more popular by the day until something led to a change in her fortunes. She came up with the video Dear Fat People. While she was hoping it would be a motivational video, but funnily, fans did not find it so!

But it turned out to be a bigger disaster than anyone would have ever imagined. Fans accused her of fat-shaming which was actually what she was trying to do. Nicole was not willing to accept the allegations, but that didn't help her in any way. Wasn't this an unnecessary attempt at getting fame?

Adam Saleh

Adam Saleh has 2.51 million subscribers on his YouTube channel and has been an active online personality since the year 2012. He is famous for his pranks and vlogs. However, not all of them are popular for the right reasons. Some of his works received too much criticism from all quarters.

Though Saleh has been involved in many a controversy over the years, the one that has still stuck to public memory is an incident that occurred in December 2016. He posted videos through which he claimed that he had been thrown out from a Delta Air Lines flight just because he spoke in Arabic.

The airline's company was under the scanner for this discrimination. However, the co-passengers who were witnesses to the incident say that Saleh had behaved inappropriately. He was posing problems for many of them. Was it a cheap publicity stunt for Saleh or anything else?

Austin Jones

The former musician was going great guns in his career garnering more than 547,000 subscribers and more than 41.4 million views on his YouTube channel. He started making music back in the year 2007 and came up with his own material for the first time in the year 2010.

Allegations of child exploitation surfaced against him from various corners in 2017. The list of Austin's female fans was also growing until one fine day he was accused of asking underage girls to do something that was morally incorrect. On May 3, 2019, Austin was incarcerated and was ordered a 10-year sentence in federal prison.

The judge showed no lenience. His YouTube channel was permanently off the air on February 6, 2019. The earliest date of his release is December 31, 2027. This is one of the perfect examples of falling from glory.

Sam and Nia (Part 1)

How low can one stoop to become famous? YouTubers Sam and Nia went as far as faking a miscarriage just to garner views on their channel. Does it get worse? Well, we don't know. But this was really distasteful. Sam surprised Nia with her own pregnancy test in which she was found to be positive.

Some days later, the couple came up with a video in which the fans witnessed Nia's miscarriage. The viewers caught them and called out for faking the pregnancy and later, the miscarriage. Sam later confessed that the whole thing was staged.

According to him, it was God's doing, and the couple was just a ploy in the hands of the Almighty. This didn't go down well with the viewers at all. Sam and Nia lost all the popularity they had earned so far and people thought that they deserved it.  

Sam and Nia (Part 2)

Aside from the fake miscarriage controversy that Sam and Nia had been involved in, the two got into another trouble. Thus cementing their status as one of the most problematic couples you will ever come across. After the miscarriage debacle happened, Sam was caught cheating on Nia.

Sam had been a member of Ashley Madison, the Canadian social networking and online dating service, especially for people in a relationship. As per the reports, hackers soon got into the site and found out the names and email addresses of those who were paying members of the service.

It apparently looks like Nia has forgiven him, but we are not sure of where they stand. This was kind of a mess that Sam wouldn't want to get into ever again. Hopefully. Anyway, let's hope all's well between the two for the time being.

YouTuber Marina Joyce had uploaded a video ad for a certain clothing brand in 2017. But her behavior in the video seemed a little bizarre! What surprised most people was her actions that seemed a tad forced, and she might have also whispered 'Help me' at a certain point.

A resident of North London, Marina went missing for no less than 10 days. She was thankfully found 'safe and well after those 10 days, but reports claim that weird occurrences might have taken place. But everyone chose to be tight-lipped about it.

The 24-year old talented girl was rumored to have been kidnapped by ISIS. But soon she started advertising for a rave party. And it was then that most of her followers suspected if the rave was at all a trap set by ISIS. She's better now and continues with her vlogs, like earlier.

Calum McSwiggan

YouTube sensation Calum McSwiggan had put a caption in a certain photo that he uploaded on Instagram, which hinted at how he was 'terrified' to be insulted before the public. After he left a club in West Hollywood, three men attacked him. He even filed a complaint with the police, but the treatment meted out was quite demeaning.

All of 31, Calum is a renowned British blogger and online radio presenter too, who mostly likes creating diverse content and mental health, relationships, and more.

Since 2013, he started creating YouTube videos, which acted as his motivation. Thereafter, he started hosting The Calum McSwiggan Show, in 2017, on Fubar Radio. Though he faced a few issues after the incident that occurred that day, things however settled with time. After all, both parties realized they were in the wrong, and making headlines for petty matters would only worsen their future.

Yovana Mendoza

A vegan by choice, Yovana has practically redefined and reshaped what it means to adopt a healthy, vegan lifestyle, using the power of her voice. It's been almost 4 and a half years and her YouTube channel is a much talked-beauty platform.

Sadly, her popularity came crashing down after she was filmed in Bali, eating a fish. The founder of 'Rawvana' wasn't unfazed by this incident and made it a point to submit a lengthy apology, where she stated how ashamed she was of her ac Strange enough, she even described the place as a 'plant-based paradise’.t.

Yovana is still a name to contend with in the lifestyle section of YouTube. But this weird occurrence that proved she wasn't vegan at that time caused her to shake a bit! For now, she's doing good work and that should be great news for her fans.

Charles Rocket

Charles Adams Claverie, popularly known as Charles Rocket, became an acclaimed performer on the silver screen owing to his performances as Dave Dennison in the 1993 fantasy comedy film, Hocus Pocus and Nicholas Andre in the 1994 buddy comedy film, Dumb and Dumber.

His other films are Dances with the Wolves, Steal Big Steal Little, and others. Before he got into films, Charles was working for Saturday Night Live and was going great guns in his career, until something awkward happened that seemed to take the steam out of his television career.

It was the 1980-81 season and the 11th episode was in its closing moments when the F-word flew out of Charles' mouth. He soon found himself in a mess. The producer was aware of the desperate moments but still fired Charles from the show, keeping the image of SNL in mind.

Jamie Kennedy

Do you remember Randy Meeks from the iconic Scream franchise? Well, it was Jamie Kennedy who made an appearance in it and made the character popular among the viewers. Aside from that, he has played several characters in The WB series, The Jamie Kennedy Experiment.

Kennedy has been active in the industry since 1989 and is still going strong. He has also starred in films such as Malibu's Most Wanted, Romeo + Juliet, and Good Deeds. First Night 2013 with Jamie Kennedy held live from outside of the popular Grauman's Chinese Theatre in California received negative reviews as many criticized it for its inferior quality.

Aside from various technical issues, an impromptu fight broke out between the paid professionals over who should take the credits. Kennedy later tried to cover up, saying that the show was intentionally unrehearsed. 

Milli Vanilli

The R&B duo from Germany's Munich was at the apex of success with their popular pop acts back in the 80s and 90s. Fab Morvan and Rob Pilatus made up the group and laid their hands on the Grammy Award in the Best New Artist category in 1990.

Things were going absolutely fine for the two until it was found out that Fab and Rob didn't lend their voices to any of their releases. They were heavily criticized by the journalists and fans and were even labeled as frauds. The success they earned all turned into nothing, and Milli Vanilli found itself down in the dumps.

Fab and Rob returned their Grammys, and suddenly, their career was in a mess. Fans who turned up for their live performance of the number Girl You Know It's True demanded refunds. They tried to make a comeback, but their career never took off after this infamous incident.

Doug Williams

Before he became a graduate, Doug Williams made quite a name for himself as a stand-up comedian. He later went on to star in First Kid and The Nutty Professor. Besides that, he also made a guest appearance in The Bernie Mac Show.

Williams has been a master of observational comedy and was doing a great job. However, things went south when a clip of Williams' roasting of the former NFL running back, Emmitt Smith, surfaced on the internet in 2001. Williams earned notoriety for sniping at Smith as nobody took the roasting on a positive note.

Williams, later on, explained his conduct and also said that things went overboard unnecessarily, and the incident didn't deserve as much attention as it did. He was caught off-guard, but he couldn't save himself from the derogatory remarks that flew at him after the incident.  

Karmin

Nick Noonan and Amy Renee Noonan constituted the band Karmin. Hello and Broken Hearted are two of the popular singles that took them up the ladder of popularity. Acapella, the number from Pulses, their debut album, earned gold in the U.S. entered the top 10 charts in Australia and New Zealand.

The list of their other chartbusters include Look at Me Now, Crash Your Party, I Want It All, and Along the Road. At a 2012 Saturday Night Live performance, Karmin had to follow the performance of Lana Del Ray, which was next to impossible.

Though Karmin tried their best, they were not able to surpass Lana. In the end, they failed miserably, and that seemed to have spelled doom for their career. As per sources, fans eventually witnessed Karmin becoming quite irrelevant after that. That was a sad outcome.

Dani Mathers

The 30-year-old Playboy model and actress became the Cyber Girl of Playboy in the year 2013. Playboy Miss May in 2014, and Playmate of the Year in the year 2015. Dani starred as Danica in The Bold and the Beautiful's CBS show and appeared in Neighbors.

She appeared as the Heidi and Frank show host regularly until she invited infamy by getting involved in body shaming. She took a snap of a 71-year-old woman having a shower at the gym. The body-shaming would have been a bit harmless if Dani hadn't gone a bit too far.

Dani had to do a month of community service and was sentenced to 45 days behind bars. This incident proved to be a scar on her career, which she could never move beyond.

Zoe Sugg

Zoe Sugg, who is popular for her brand Zoella, is a popular YouTube personality and beauty expert. She came up with her makeup advent calendar in 2017, and the prices were exorbitant. It was normal for the fans not to take this kindly, and they expressed their opinions.

However, this was not the end, as some fans dug into her social media accounts and unearthed some tweets which were not in good taste. The tweets somehow reflected Zoe's feelings towards others, from slurs towards a particular section of people to fat-shaming. Internet trolls did not spare her.

When things went south, Zoe stated that she wrote those derogatory tweets eight years back, and things blew out of proportion. However, the damage was irreparable. She also confessed that she doesn't think on those lines anymore.

The king of pop, Michael Jackson’s career hit an all-time high with his breakthrough album, Thriller, in 1982. Songs like Thiller, Just Beat It, and Billie Jean went on to be chartbusters!  His gravity-defying dancing skills, his unique voice made him the ultimate pop star.

However, his career hit a steady decline since 2003, with whispers about his personal life and his lifestyle in a fantasy mansion. The media had a field day writing and reporting the breaking news, much to the shock of his fans worldwide.

He was gone too soon with an accidental overdose in 2009. He also had to spend two decades of prison time as he was found guilty of some of the charges leveled at him. However, he was acquitted from all the charges, much to the relief of his fans.

R. Kelly

Robert Kelly, or R Kelly as he is popular, is an American singer, songwriter, record producer. However, most people today remember him as the serial offender in many cases. He has earned numerous titles thanks to his unprecedented success in the music field. This includes the likes of R&B and hip hop. His fans fondly call him the King of R&B, the King of Pop-Soul, and the Pied Piper of R&B proves his popularity and his sheer mastery over his vocals.

The Grammy award-winning singer has chart-busting songs like I Believe I Can Fly, Bump N' Grind, Your Body's Callin, Gotham City, Ignition (Remix), and more.

However, controversies finally caught up with him as he was indicted for several crimes. Although he has been refuting such claims, things look bleak for him; career-wise, he has been losing endorsements like no tomorrow.

Chris Brown

Chris Brown is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, record producer, actor, and graffiti artist. In fact, as per Billboard, Brown is regarded as one of the most influential and successful R&B singers ever. He is also one of the chief claimants for the title of King of R&B alongside Usher and R. Kelly. His musical style is what one can call polyhedric, and he draws his influences from other genres, such as hip hop and pop music.

Such is his versatility that he has been compared with the inimitable Michael Jackson. His lyrics focus on the pangs of lovesickness, regret, romantic love, fast life, desire, and the maneuvering of difficult emotions.

He was also the center of media attention while dating Rihanna. However, things got ugly between the couple at a pre-Grammy party in 2009, and accusations moved thick and fast.  Unfortunately, Rihanna ended with a split lip, bruised cheeks, and lesions on her forehead. Career-wise, there has been a steady decline after that!

Mary J. Blige

Mary Jane Blige is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. Her career began with a bang in 1991 when Uptown Records signed her. She released about 13 studio albums, and at least eight of them went on to win multi-platinum worldwide sales. Blige has been able to add the prestigious Grammy Awards (9 of them)  to her repertoire and four American Music Awards, and twelve Billboard Music Awards.

She has even won three Golden Globe Awards and two Academy Awards, winning one for Mudbound (2017) category and her song Mighty River. She was the first singer/actor to win the award for both acting and songwriting in the same year.

Miss Mary J. Blige resorts to pain and drama whenever it comes to marketing her image. Fans had a problem with her Burger King commercial about fried chicken wraps, and they were severely disappointed with the way she portrayed the commercial.

Boy George

George Alan O'Dowd is popular by his stage name Boy George. He is a successful English singer, songwriter, DJ, fashion designer, photographer, and record producer. He is also the leader of the pop band Culture Club. During its peak, the 1980s has recorded many global hits, such as Karma Chameleon, Do You Really Want to Hurt Me, and Time (Clock of the Heart).

George has enchanted his listeners with his soulful voice and his unique appearance. He was the pioneer of the British New Romantic movement, which began in the 1970s and continued until the 1980s.

However, like all good things, this had to end too; Boy George was sentenced to rigorous punishment in jail for assaulting someone. This incident certainly impacted his career in a big way. And his fans continue to consider this the biggest loss to the entertainment industry.

Ashlee Simpson

Ashlee Simpson is an American singer who is the younger sister of singer and actress Jessica Simpson. She began her career as a backup dancer for her sister and made many television commercials at 15. She later began her career as an actress and became a household name with a family drama, 7th Heaven.

Ashlee Simpson's career began spiraling downwards with a tragic Saturday Night Live performance in 2004. While she began singing the second song of her set, Autobiography, she hit a jarring note as the song Pieces of Me began to play instead. Although Simpson tried to distract her fans from the big revelation that she has been lip-syncing her song by dancing, the damage was done.

The blame game between Simpson and the band continued. However, everything was downhill from there for her as nothing could resurrect Ashlee's career.

However, his arrest in Jared in 2015 on several counts, several offenses that included minors, turned things for him. His net worth that once came down to $15 million has to sit in jail for 13 years and more.

Mariah Carey is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and record producer. She is famous for her five-octave vocal range, beautiful singing style, and distinctive use of the whistle register. Carey rose to heights of popularity in 1990 with her eponymous debut album. She is among the first artists who had five singles reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

Some of Carey's most popular songs include Music Box, Merry Christmas, and Daydream. Carey won numerous awards include Artist of the Decade (Billboards) and the Best Selling Female Pop Artist of the Millennium.

Mariah Carey's success story ended due to several goof ups. This includes one 2016 New Year's Rockin' Eve show in Times Square, where she missed the backing track and couldn't sing. She mostly lip-synced her songs which created a major disconnect between her and the audience.

Lil Wayne

Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. or Lil Wayne is an American rapper and record executive. He is arguably one of the most influential hip-hop artists of his generation and is one of the greatest rappers of all time.

He began his career in 1995, at the age of 12. And when he was signed by rapper Birdman he became the youngest member of the label to join Cash Money Records. Wayne went on to become the flagship artist of Cash Money Records before terminating his association with the company in June 2018.

A taste line used by Li'l Wayne in a song spelled bad news for his career. The hint of racism in the song received a lot of backlashes and Wayne had to issue a lengthy apology for the same. He also promised that he would never perform on that song and had it removed from airwaves.

Janet Jackson

Janet Damita Jo Jackson is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and dancer. She has captivated her audience with her innovative, socially conscious, and provocative records, also elaborate stage shows. As Natalia Kills, Sinclair's more popular songs include, Perfectionist and Trouble. Since July 2015, Sinclair has been performing under her legal name Teddy Sinclair. Her song, EP, +30mg was released under the label Cruel Youth.

Her judging skills came under scrutiny with the show, The X Factor, where Natalia broke the confidence of Joe Irvine in 2015. She called calling him a laughing stock and accused him of copying their act, Consequently, she and her husband were dropped from the show.

Natalie Maines

Natalie Louise Maines shot to fame by heading the all-female country band The Dixie Chicks. Dixie Chicks with Natalie as the lead singer won several Grammy awards with the song, Taking the Long Way. O’Connor's 1992 Saturday Night Live performance became mired with controversies because of major emotional performance  She changed the lyrics to Bob Marley’s “War” to reflect the rampant child abuse occurring within the Catholic Church. At the end of her emotional performance, she ripped up the picture of a prominent personality before the audience creating a major controversy.

Jerry Lee Lewis

Jerry Lee Lewis or the Killer (nickname) is an American singer, songwriter, and pianist. He was also known as "rock n' roll's first great wild man' and arguably one of the influential pianists of the 20th century.  Lewis began his career at the recordings in 1956 at Sun Records in Memphis.  His song, Crazy Arms sold 300,000 copies in the South, however, he became a household name with the song, Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin.'

Like all good things, his immense name and fame came to an end too and his career hit rock bottom, so much so that his earnings went from $10,000 a night to a meager $250 when a reporter found out that he was married to his first cousin, who was just 13, while he was 23.

His popularity was eventually eroded and caused a major impact on his flourishing career!
